My first vintage Seiko
Not counting a mid-'80s gold-plated day-date model (on which the plating had begun to wear severely 15 years later, and which I gave away soon after).This is a second-series Alpinist from about 1963. It was the superbly designed dial which first drew me to the watch, when a collector friend showed his on another forum a couple of years ago. When this appeared for sale (from another collector) it took me a few weeks to bite the bullet, but I'm so glad I did. No wear on the case back:Correct "W" c........
