accutron caseback restoration
Hi, I'm a collector of accutron 214's as you can tell by my name here. I collect stainless steel watches only and do my own case disassembely and polishing. But I want to know how to correctly re grain the caseback and setting crown/battery hatch to a accutron 214. I have asked this question in other forums and have gotten partial answers mostly wrong ones. They tell me to regrain the flat of the caseback by sliding it in a line on a sheet of sand paper.
