recently back from the doctor...is c.1910 with a so-called Louis XIV dial. The Watch Specialties movement is stamped with the D.G & S logo for D. Gruen & Sons...according to the Gruen history website, Watch Specialties was a Gruen subsidiary that made their movements prior to Gruen's Guild movements. The Gruen sterling case measures 25.5mm with the movement oriented like a pocket watch with the 12 o'clock hour at the 3 o'clock position...........
