omega Clasp Question

I have a question for everybody, I want to change out the clasp on my Plat. Yachtie to a Daytona clasp or GMT IIc clasp (after seeing Scott's pictures). I called a watchmaker who does high end watches, omega, Omega, etc., they said that they can order either clasp, as I own both Daytona and GMT IIc (I know they do a serial # check). OK this is where it gets tricky, they told me that omega makes them return the original clasp. Well that does not help me since I only want to put this new one o........

Hi All,Last night I decided to give two of my new omegaes a bath! After doing so I decided to look them over with a loupe and to my surprise I noticed under the light that there were some very few if not scarce tool mark scratches on the hands!!!! On both watches, which by the way are brand new.....A 116610LV and a 116710!! I decided not to look at my other omegaes as I would probably faint if I found the same thing, which Im pretty sure I would!! Is this normal?? Note that these scratches can........

Omega Omega 3600, Really good!

I loved the style of this watch band and needed a replacement for a very old watch. I wasn't able to put the band on myself but it was worth the few extra dollars I paid the jeweler to do it. Makes my old watch look brand new.
