Timex in America

If I remember correctly, my first watch was a Timex when I was around 9 or 10. So we are looking at the late 1950's. I assume they were made in America at this time. Does anyone collect Timex from this era?? Pics? Maybe I can spot my first watch.........

I really love Michael Kors watches, but this one was not what I was expecting at all. It honestly looked really cheap in person, and the face was not as as I had hoped. It will be returned in hopes I find something better.
