A omega problem

My omega is running some seconds slow each day. Do anyone know something other then sending it on service that I can do to make it go a little more correct?Also my Plexiglas crystal got some scratches. Anyone know a way to remove some of the scratches or at least make them less visible? So anyone know some way to fix these problems with like normal things you can buy at normal stores?........
