Sapphire crystal
My 1996 submariner has a small chip off at Sapphire crystal (without crown etched on crystal). If I replace it with a new Sapphire crystal (with crown etched on crystal) will it affect the value of the watch in future? I know vintage model owner do prefer original dial and hands.........
Aerospace broke. Can you recommend new watch?
My Breitling Aerospace just bit the dust after 5 years. It fell about 4 feet to the bathroom floor, directly on the crystal. The lcd appears broken, and a hand fell off. I brought it in for repairs. I think it will be very expensive to get repaired since when I took it in for a battery this summer they said Breitling would only replace the battery if I had a full service - cost $400.
