New member seeks Intramatic advice and help

Hello to all, new member and possibly new Hamilton owner here. I am considering a Roman numeral and dateless Intramatic from the late 1960s. Watch will go to auction and appears sound and supposedly serviced. Being new, I am naturally cautious about fakes (possibility?) and something assembled from foreign parts. I am also curious about the serial numbers , can anyone advise the sort of numbering I should expect to find. The watch simply states Hamilton Intramatic in two lines beneath the 1........

Please compare Sinn vs. Muhle-Glashutte in overall quality (finish, movements, robustness...?)I'm considering the M-G Grand Sports B-Uhr and M-G Big Sports M-12 because I like the navigator style. (...not sure of the difference between these two models...I'm looking at pics online.)........
