Revelation on omega and time keeping

I have been running tests on one of my omegaes and other watches. I found something really important. If this has been mentioned somewhere before, I haven't seen it. I didn't really know this.So, I got a couple watches, wound them up, took them upstairs and watched them off and on for 24 hours. Both were 12 seconds too fast, or so. So, I thought I would reset the omega and wear it for 24 hours. Now I am at 27 hours and I'm pleased to report the omega is +4 sec fast. Well within COSC specs........

newbie needs help

Hey all. I'm new here and looking for some help. I have to admit I'm a computer geek so anything about that I'm expert but as to watches. I'm a Timex kind of guy so any and all help is appreciated.I'm looking to buy the wife a new watch in the $300-$500 range. Need some advice as to brands and e-tailers.In the past she has had 2-tone watches. Seiko,citizen and the likes but I'd like to step up the quality level.She has stated numerous times that she wants a Movado but I don't think I can do that........
