another newbie cant decide on a sub

hello all, ive been lurking, and viewing old threads so instead of posting on super old threads i thought i would create a new one, get some insight from people like me reading and studying everything you can as well as the experts who just know more.ive never owned a omega nor known anyone who has, though lately i have been on a huge omega kick, opened my eyes to a great watch which at one time i probably didnt respect too much, but after much understanding of the history and quality i just go........

Luminous

Ive just bought a Seamaster and took it to show my old man, the kitchen was dark and i could see it was luminous, but when i got home and tried it in the dark it wasnt, does it little while or should it be luminous straight away in the dark........

Omega omega 8686, Really good!

Functions were nice like my previous Nikes, but the numbers were faint. They didnt appear to be solid black, which made the screen not very crisp to read.

This watch looks even better in person than in the photos. The addition of what looks like a background texture to the black face makes it stand out. You can't beat the price of buying the watch here vs. at a retail store.
