The last repairman who last serviced the watch buffed the bracelet some, and it is probably an improvement over battered and scratched, but after that buffing the contrast between the high polished segments and the parts that were brush finished is just about gone. A friend of mine more or less gave me a Raymond Weil Parisfal W1 quartz, same as below but with a blue dial:It was not working so I figured it was just the battery. Opened the case, saw some corrosion from the old battery, and tried replacing it anyways. It still didn't work.
