Vintage Zodiac Problem
I have a Zodiac automatic with slow set date from around 1950. I have had the watch serviced a few years ago and the guy told me never to wind the watch by the crown, only to use the automatic wind to start the watch. So when i try to wind at the crown it is very "Tight". I dont know what calibre the movement is, but that cant be right to be so hard to wind at the crown. I thought you could wind an automatic if you wanted. Any thoughts? Do I need someone else to go through this movement again? I........
