Illinois wristwatch winding stem
I have an Illinois Viking with a three piece case and 307 movement. The winding stem is loose and remains in the setting position and won't snap back into place. I am able to push the crown in to wind with no problem. Wearing a watch that sets itself is a problem! Any help would be much appreciated.........
Why won't my watch winder actually wind my watches?!
I got a new watch winder for Christmas last year and really just started using it (trying) lately. One thing I notice however is, it won't wind anything! Every watch I put on it is dead when I pick it up 2 days later. Funny thing is, I put the winder on the most active setting and it basically turns one way like 180 degrees, pauses for about a minute, then turns the other way about 180 degree's.Is there something I need to do to make this work? Watches I've tried:My PO, my Hamilton Jazzmaste........
