I'm thinking of buying my first automatic and I've become rather enamoured with this Longines GMT:(From longines)Only thing that bugs me is the lack of lume, and the numerals - would rather it was just markers.Any other ideas for a dressy watch, preferably with GMT, must have date, day/date even better, centre second hand, no numerals except for 24 hour hand if present. Price under 1500 GBP. Ha, don't ask for much do I?!........

Setting the time

I have a manual wind watch that is hard to set the time accurately - after you set the time and push in the crown the minute hand has a tendancy to jump - any ideas??thanks pjh........
