I just snagged this one off eBay! It's the Omega Speedmaster Day/Date 3523.50.00 sometimes referred to as the Mark 40. I owned one of these before, and always regretted selling it.. This one appears to be in better shape than my first one, so I guess it worked out for me in the long run!! It should be here by the first of the week, and I'll post some photos when it arrives. Well, I responded to the poll about planning another Hamilton purchase and responded that I had just bought three vintage models in the last week and wasn't planning to. So I get home and check out the auction place and someone just HAD to list something I wanted - a fairly rare electric 1958 Converta II with a Buy it Now. Stainless steel case with a 14K solid gold bezel. 35mm diameter (a perfect size IMO), 45mm over the lugs, & 20mm strap width. Recently serviced and nearly new condit........
