Hamilton Palisade Information request

I have not received, but have ordered a Hamilton Palisade per attached photos, but from what I have found at hamiltonwatch.info per 1930 Hamiltons offered, this rare watch was sold with a 987 movement instedad of the 979 19j movement within the one I ordered. The site described that the Palisade came with either a yellow or white gold filled case with gold or embrossed numeral dial, whereas the one ordered has a minutes railroad type minute dial similar to the Pipimg Rock, but no hour or secon........

Question About Buyng a New Watch

I am looking to buy a new watch but decided to wait after a recent article I read on Time. Not sure if this is true but I figured a few veterans might be able to give me some good insight. I am looking to buy an Omega watch. The article I read said that omega is the only good investment. If i want to sell the watch later to get another one I don't want it to be worthless.
