New green gold Square
It arrived today. I was a little disappointed that the lume had fallen out of the hour hand. That must have happened at some point while the seller was disassembling and reassembling the watch, trying to attract gold scrappers. I suppose it might have happened at any point, including at my watchmakers', as it was likely unstable. Still a bummer. I know a craftsman who can match aged lume very well, so I'll eventually send it to him (not a sponsor, so if anyone wants a reference, PM me).Otherwise........

Thought i would share some new pictures i took today...EnjoyMy wife's Tag Heuer Aquaracer:My Tag Heuer Formula-1:My wife's 1978 omega Orchid (still keeps perfect time, mechanical hand wound). This watch was originally purchased by my mother and given to my wife as a wedding gift. We even have the original box and guarantee papers.I think it's gold. I don't think omega has "plated gold". Does anyone know how to tell if it's real gold?........
