Chronograph Question

Hello all. I have recently become interested in watches, particularly those with mechanical and automatic movements. I am rehearsing my options so that when I finally take the plunge and buy my first watch, I'll know that I haven't missed anything. As for my question, I am interested in chronograph functions, but am put off slightly by the fact that whenever one is reset, the second hand returns to zero. Are there any movements that keep track of where the second hand should be while it is being........

Panerai PAM 123, Really good!

This watch is perfect for day or evening. I am medium to bone structure and it looks great on my arm. Keeps perfect time and looks expensive. Have had several compliments. Would definately recommend this great buy and watch.

While this watch is advertised to have automatic update on correct time, this watch will not or perhaps can not received signal from Fort Collins, Colorado, and I live less that 2000 miles from there.
