Vintage Seamaster 2846

I was wondering if anyone can help meI have always loved the early Seamasters and Seamaster Devilles but have always been too afraid of buying one on Ebay for fear of buying a dud. Anyhow last weekend I was lucky enough to find a Seamaster 1957 2846 8SC in a little second hand watch shop. It is a non date version with a white/silver dial. I have already replaced the black (non original) strap it came with. Overall it is in nice condition but the dial is faded and in my opinion really brings the ........
