Roll Call - Vintage Rotary Experts?

My father recently gave me his vintage automatic Rotary. Purchased in Salisbury, Rhodesia (ie Harare, Zimbabwe) in 1947 when he was posted there with the RAF.I can't post photos of it for a few weeks - so the purpose of this post was to see if there are any experts here at WTF that may be able to help me find out more about it.
