Recently scammed any comeback?

While on a recent trip to NY I bought a seamaster 300m chrono diver. I was told it was genuine and paid by credit card. It turns out now to be fake and I 'm wondering if anything can be done. I'm more disappointed at myself as I would normally research such a thing but this was a spur of the moment purchase. Are there any consumer laws that protect me here or is purely buyer beware? I won't be back in NY in the near future either. Any thoughts would greatly appreciated. Thanks.........
