OMEGA Speedmaster Chronograph : Too Cheap!?!?

Hi GuysI know this probably sounds like an odd question, but I've been looking at the OMEGA Speedmaster Chronograph watch, but to be honest I can't quite understand why it is so reasonably priced - at least in the UK anyway. Comparing with the TAG Carrera for example, it is almost 300 (around $500US I think?) cheaper. And they have the same Valjoux 7750 base movement.I am drawn to the OMEGA because I like the brand very much - and this particular watch is a bit smaller that the Carrera, which........

This watch is so heavy I considered sending it back. For as large as it is, the band is not very long. Set up directions are not very easy to follow. It's a nice looking watch, and I am partial to rubber watch bands, which is why I picked this one. I also really like that it will never need a battery, but I'd recommend you keep shopping.
