Pocket Watch by Richard Clayton Cincinnati
I found an old pocket watch by Richard Clayton Cincinnati in a box of family heirlooms. What very little I know about it is that it might have been built between 1834 - 1859 and that Clayton was a silversmith/watchmaker as well as a very well known balloonist c. 1830s. Does anybody know anything about these watches? Any idea what it would have cost when new? (This answer could solve a family mystery...) Many thanks for any information.. 100_1439.jpg........
New watch in da House.
I just wanted to share with you guy's my new Citizen eco-drive world timer. I decided to get this in stead of the Swiss Army because I've wanted a world timer in this set up. I do own a Wenger world timer but it was difficult to read other time zones. With this Citizen all the timezones are displayed at a glance instead of having to turn a crown in order to read the other timezones. Here's two pics of both watches for comparison, Between the Wenger World Timer and the Citizen world Timer.........
