I think I finally realized why I'm not into modern watches
A few years ago I decided that if I was going to buy a modern watch, it would probably be Omega's 3523.80 with the Valjoux 7751. IMO, it's a great looking watch, especially with the blue dial. But, I discovered there are a number of other brands that use the same movement, and that is why I prefer my vintage American Hamiltons - the company manufactured and assembled their own movements, and cased them before shipping them out. Forgive my ignorance, but other than the true upper tier manufact........
