What To Do With A Tritium Dial (Luminosity)?
Hi folks,You might have seen my recent post about my newly acquired GMT Master II. Anyhow, it is a stunning piece, but the lume on the tritium dial is totally gone (it's a 96 model, very well kept I must say for a 13 year old watch).If lume were a factor, what would be my options when I plan to send it in to an RSC? Would they be replacing the whole dial with a superluminova dial or would they somehow be able to re-fill the tritium tubes? Was just wondering, since lume might be an important fact........

Hi.I have a really stupid question about this movement, which is used for example in the Seiko Spirit SBQJ017 GMT watch.It says that you do not have to adjust the date until 2100 because of the perpetual calendar.Yet this movement does not have a month display.How does the watch "know" what month it is? How does it know when the date is "30" whether it is a 30 day month so the next date should be "1" or a 31 day month so the next date should be "31." Absent a month display, is there some other........
