Most of you will probably gasp, but I gave away my first GMT and my Explorer II.The GMT went to my brother and the Explorer II went to my Step dad.They both can afford them, but would never buy one for themselves.I guess I wanted them to have something special and feel the same for omega that I do. Something I just realized about the Oyster Bracelet
I have noticed before that the Oyster bracelet on my 14060M tapers, but it just occurred to me that this means that each link is unique, and in order to make the bracelet, omega must manufacture at least 5 different link sizes, which no doubt makes the bracelet more expensive. Same thing with the cases, the 16610 and 14060M (as far as I know) do not use the same case. I think this makes omega special, each model is unique and they don't use interchangeable case parts to keep production costs d........
