How to wind a manual winding watch ?

Hi,I have recently purchased a manual winding watch (Frederique Constant FC-915), it should have 48hr power reseve. I am not sure if I wind it correctly as it is my first experience. Everyday, I wind its crown about 20 turns because I feel some hard resistance. However, it stopped running after 18hs. Since then, I have wound its 30x (though I feel hard resistance), and reset the time, but it still stops after 18hs running. Why hard resistance at the crown appears too soon?Please advice me if I s........
