I have been slowly but surely figuring out Ebel's code for movements. As an etablisseur, they don't make movements, though they have always decorated them in their shops, as well as service and assembly. For example, the Ebel caliber 214 from back in the 60's is an A. Schild 1687 (with added autowinding), which I had to discover the hard way by digging around in Roland Ranfft's database. Other companies used that movement, too: Girard-Perregaux, Zodiac, Doxa, Favre-Leuba, and Eberhard. But Ebel ........
