Hey guys,I'm looking to purchase my first "real" watch, and I was hoping for some advice or a shove in the right direction for those much more informed than myself (I apologize if this is the wrong forum, I did a search and checked the FAQ but couldn't find anything, feel free to move). I'm 22, finishing college in less than 2 weeks, start my first "real" job after the New Year, and I really want to get a nice watch. Basically, I've never really worn a watch, so I don't have that great an idea o........
Newbie - Advice appreciated
I have always been a fan of fine timepieces but could never really afford to start a collection. Finally, I have a few extra bucks. I thought I would try and stay in the sub $1000 range to find what I really like in a watch. I have a Tissot PRC200 and a Magarette on the way. Considering a Lum-tec (need a tough, sporty watch) and a Hamilton. I think that will give me a nice starting base without breaking the bank. Then, I can go from there. Any advice is appreciated. Brands, styles, where to shop........
