I was wondering what people think of these. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all, but I find some of them quite nice looking. VINTAGE VERGE WATCH, No 1.
I have in my collection a very interesting Verge watch that I have had for quite a number of years now. The maker is "Benjamin Kid of Grayrigg". The really interesting feacher of this watch is the serial No, 1. It would appear to me that this was the first watch this particular maker ever made, and if so would make it an extremely rare watch. Any comments would be very much appreciated as I know little or nothing about the serial numbers on old watches. Also the balance cock is interesting, as "........
