Well to-morrow, Friday is my last day as a guest curator at the museum, I suspect most of you think that studying and learning so much about Horology in that time would have been my greatest satisfaction, and indeed it was an amazing learning experience.But what keeps on coming to my mind is "Teaching others we teach ourselves" That has been my greatest learning experience here at the Museum in Columbia, that and the wonderful people I met.From the staff, to the wonderful volunteers to the visit........
What to buy?
(I made a thread like this before and it was deleted, apparently. I looked over the FAQ and other sticky posts and I don't seem to be violating any rules, so I'm posting again.)I'm looking to buy a first watch, preferably a decent but affordable one. A few recommended me the Seiko 5 military watch at the lowest of the price line and the Seiko Spirit for a little more money. I don't really care about brand as long as the watch looks nice and is mechanical or automatic for a more authentic feel. I........
