1120 Movement Sounds
Hi All,When winding your cal 1120 watch, do you notice any sounds at all?When I first purchased my 2254.50 over a year ago, the winding was buttery smooth and the movement didn't make any noise. 6 months later, when manually winding the watch I could hear a slightly raspy grinding sound, which I'm accustomed to on all other automatics I've had the experience of winding. Now, there is this noticeably louder clicking sound when I wind the watch. It only occurs once with each time I twist the crown........
Universal Geneve Polerouter automatic
The last universal geneve polerouter I saw was a diving watch and was worth around a $1000, however I don't think this one is worth anything like that, but have not been able to find this particular model (there seems to be so many out there!). Nice watch, only thing I don't like are the hands seem to be a bit rusty. As with the other watches I've poste don here, not my watch posting for info for a friend - any info on year, possible value would be appreciated. Thanks all!........
