Watch identification?

Hi there,I just returned from visiting my fiance's relatives in France, and was presented with what I assume is a vintage Hamilton from one of her relatives. It's a very nice watch, however it does have several issues:1. I don't know what model it is, or the year in which it was made. The reverse reads "HAMILTON Water-Resistant Anti-Magnetic 10k Goldfilled Bezel (star) Stainless Back Adjusted." See photo of the face, here:2. The glass (crystal?) on the front has a slight crack, and I'd like to ........

Color is a muted purple. Great look. Face is a little cluttered with numbers and can be a little hard to read. Keeping it anyway.
