Constellation Advice Needed

Hi,I just bought this 1962 Constellation pie pan. Its my first vintage watch and I think its an understatement to say I am very happy. It has a 551 movement which is keeping good time. I plan to have the watch serviced immediately. I turned 50 recently (born 1962) so I suppose this was meant to be ! As you can see the face has some white marks (salt / corrosion ?). Otherwise the face has a wonderful subtle luminescence which I like. My question is - what to do about the face. Can it be cleaned ?........
