I LOVE my new Panerai but....

Is it possible I'm wearing it too much? I don't take off my watch unless the strap is going to get wet. My other watches don't get any wrist time anymore. I'm planning on putting the rubber strap on my Base and wearing it all summer. Am I crazy or is this normal paneristi behaviour? Does anyone actually swim with these dive watches or are they just for show? This is my most expensive watch but I don't want to keep it in a safe and of course I don't want to damage it. Any feedback would be great!........

I purchased this watch as a Christmas gift. It is only suitable for very limited wear as the decorations are not secured very well. It looks nicer in the photo than in person.
