Submariner - Noise after service

Hey everyone,I took a ~27 year old Submariner Stainless (transitional period model) in about 16 months ago and it was sent to omega for factory service. Everything was fine until about 2 weeks ago when the watch simply quit altogether. Need help with my watch.

I was given a watch in the early 80's in Italy as a confirmation gift from my uncle. I am trying to find some informatiopn about it but am having no luck. It is an 18k yellow gold automatic wristwatch. The brand on the face and the back is Neirs. Also the model name is Geneve. The back of the case also has some numbers below the Neirs mark. The number is: 1826 1.I hope some one here can give me some info. I tried googling the brand name but have come up empty. I did find a brand of gold watches ........

It's beautiful, but a pain in the butt to switch the straps! they should have included a tool to fascilitate the change. I still haven't been able to find a tool enough to do so.
