Trying to locate a 1959 Seamaster
I am looking for a gift for a friends 50th. Interested in finding a 1959 Omega...preferably a Seamaster...but also looking for a royal navy or airforce version of an omega...since he is english.Condition should be at least good and at a fair price.If anyone has links or leads I will be greatly appreciated.Is there anything unique in 59 that might be of interest as well please chime in.........

As some of you may know the 5960 has been my grail for a long time, almost from the time that I was released. Prior the 5960 I appreciated the mechanical aspect of Patek, but the designs left me cold. I knew that Patek was The Best but I had a hard time appreciating the simplicity of a simple time only Calatrava, and the perpetual calendars were all a little too mature for my taste. It seemed to me that Pateks were designed to be worn by my father or grandfather, not me. All it took to forever........
