Winding and correction questions
Hi everyone.I have a new Planet Ocean Chrono (2210.50.00) which I've had for about three weeks now.I wear it during the day, and have been taking it off at night. Two nights ago it had stopped around 5am, so last night I wore it to bed, but again it stopped around the same time. I was under the impression the auto movement had between 40-50 hours reserve, and the user guide suggests winding only after prolonged disuse.Do other owners wind their watches regularly? Also, the user guide is a bit sh........
Promising New Seikos in 2012
New automatic Seiko with day date in 2012 will have hacking and handwinding feature in the form of the new 4R36 movement. The manufacturer specs seems very low on accuracy +/-45s per day but Seiko calibres can be regulated to much tighter specs with a little work. At this stage, here in Asia we are seeing Seiko 5 debuting with it and Thomas (Yeoman Seiko Blog) just posted on his blog 3 limited edition 200m Divers with 4R36 movement. At first glance my heart leaped for joy seeing shrouded hacking........
