I was just explaing how watches are powered, and realized that I really didn't know how to explaing how a self-winder runs ......felt kinda stupid, so it's time for another of Salleh's stupid questions ! How does a self-winder work ? I know that with a quartz watch it's the battery that powers the watch ....and a winding watch is powered by the unwinding of the mainspring....( at least I hope that's how it's done, that's what I been thinking all these years) ....if someone can put it in simpl........
