Patek Philippe Identification Confusion

I recently came into ownership of this Patek Philippe watch, which after much online research, I believe is the 5053J model. However, after a recent servicing the model which Patek Philippe wrote it down as was "Gentleman Officer's Strap Watch". I am confused, because it looks exactly like the 5053J images which I found online. The one dollar horological machine!

No, it's not a Frog, but I only paid one dollar for it. It keeps great time; it works; and it has a very nice brown croc band I can use with some other watches. I am using it as a work watch. It is very clear to see and keeps the date. What is not to love? Can you think of a better value?????........
