Hi there Longines loversI had a quick query regarding Longines straps. A wee while ago I had a Longines Evidenza with a creme face, roman numerals and a quartz movement. Last night I was lying in bed. The lights were off and I glanced at the lume on the watch I was wearing. It was my Credor Phoenix Chronograph (see picture below). I noticed that the tip of the sweep second hand had lume, just the tip mind you. I began to wonder why. Clearly this would allow me to time something in the dark, but I cant bring to mind anything I might want to time in the dark. If this were a military watch it might have relevance, but as you can see it clearly not such a time........
