Hello All - I recently purchased a couple of WWI Trench Watches & joined this forum to learn more about them but they have not arrived yet. In the mean time I wanted to share this Letter I recently purchased. I think others will appreciate seeing it. Typed letter dated Jan. 21 1943 , From General George Stratemeyer ( U.S. Army Air Force Chief of Air Staff ) Written in response to Mrs. Heil regarding the transport of a Chronograph Watch to her Husband serving overseas.........
