Anyone familiar with the 2520 Caliber?
Hi all,I got myself a 2254 6 months back and really loved the watch. So I decided that I wanted to get my wife an Omega too and decided to take the plunge and go for the Seamaster Aqua Terra 2563.75.00. (she just can't resist diamonds ) Here are some initial pics of the watch but I was wondering if anyone could tell me more about the 2520 caliber. I know it's not COSC but how accurate and reliable is it? I noticed that the crown also doesn't turn that smoothly as compared to my watch.Thanks,........
What watch does your watchmaker wear?
I took my Bulova in to my watchmaker's shop last week to have it cleaned. He is an older gent who has been a watchmaker for over 40 years and is omega certified to repair their watches. He is a man who makes his living repairing mechanical watches but on his wrist is a Swiss Army Watch in quartz. I asked him why and he said "its a good watch and u dont have to mess with it, just set it and wear it" I wonder if more watch professionals feel the same way?........
