Birth Watch Suggestions For Incoming Son!!!!
My wife and I are expecting our first this Fall. We were married on October 16, 2009. He will be born sometime in October 2010. I thought I'd get him a watch produced in 2010. I have it narrowed down to two: Nomos Ludwig, and a Stowa Marine with Roman Numerals and polished case. I realize that these are two very different watches. The Nomos has a in house movement, is much smaller (36MM), thinner, and more of a dress watch. It's also about 1/3 more $$$ than the Stowa. The Stowa is about 42MM, ha........
Setting the date
I know it is not recommended to set the date on an automatic watch around midnight. The person who traded me his Tissot Le Locle told me not to do it also around noonwhenever the hour hand is near 12. Is this true? Thanx!........
