Mineral Crystal: Why?
I made the mistake of buying a Seiko with mineral crystal once (gorgeous watch, cruddy crystal ). And only once: It scratched within a week of purchase :mad:. It swore me off mineral crystal no matter what; now I only buy watches with sapphire.After my lesson, I wonder if I can bring myself to buy a watch without sapphire crystal. Of course, if there's a nice deal on a reputable brand (Seiko, Citizen) for under $150 or so, I'd probably consider it. However, I don't think I'd ever pay more than ........
