i tried it on, a true beauty, classic, timeless, the new case design is excellent, and i was just about to take my hard earned $7,200 to pay for it but...my wife was looking at other omega and she called me and ask me to try another watch on, and it was a Deepsea, right away i was blown away!compared both, tried both but the DS was just to nice and looked excellent on my wrist.i sold my Daytona cuz of the size, the new Sub looked nice but not as nice as the Deepsea.since it came out i desired it........

Have been reading the forums for a while and now would be grateful for some opinions on the 5980/1A. I came across a 5980/1A at a grey market dealer store. He claims that the piece is new and unused and I have visually inspected it - comes in original box but the double seal has been opened but otherwise the watch is still wrapped in the original plastic wrappings. I inspected the papers etc and all seems in order except that the name of the original buyer from the Patek AD has been written ont........
