i have a New York Standard Watch Co. pocket watch, serial number (1.09mil) puts it at 1898 to 1899 date of manufacture. it is in a keystone silveroid case, sub second hand dial, 7 jewel movement. i took it to my watch maker, and he said the jewels dont show much if any wear, but the balance staff is broken. however, he doesnt work on them anymore because parts are few and far between. i started picking around looking for parts myself, and while they arent plentiful, there are some around, but in........
