Zenith Automatic/date 1964 18K gold

Now normally (in my opinion) I would go for an auto movement vs. a quartz simply because it has more soul/dont have to be bothered to change the battery.But I got to thinking, if your picking up something like a Seiko, it appears the quartz movements are MORE expensive? Why is this?Also the above hold true in the short term, but what about the long term? Do all automatic movements have to be serviced every 10 or so years? The reason I ask is because I am picking up a Seiko and I have the option ........

Have you seen all the GShocks on TV? If you watch sports, you will see this watch on many NFL and NBA stars. If you watch Dancing with the Stars, you saw red, white and yellow versions of Ocho Cinco. I have a red one and love it. I wear a omega as my everyday watch, but I HAVE to put on the red GShock at least once a week. In fact, I think I need a couple other colors. Sometimes, you just want a big yellow watch! It's fun at times when you get in that mood.Who have you seen wearing them?........
