Just curious what everyones professional opion is on frankenwatches? I was considering purchasing several same type hamiltons and using the best parts from each to make 1 watch. Is this procedure forbidden or fairly common, and also is there some sort of "numbers matching" system that collecters will tell you if they are an all original watch or is there no way knowing if this has ever occured to any watch???just curious, lots of questions and ideas floating around right now.
