Seiko Ananta SRQ011 & SPB021 - New Arrivals
Shortly before the Grand Seiko Roadshow, AZ Fine Time received our 1st allotment of the all new 44mm Seiko Ananta's. I have to say that personally, I love the look of both these pieces. I like the smaller (44mm) size a little bit better, but even if these were the 46mm as the original, I would still greatly enjoy them. The design from the original Ananta release has definitely deviated, the sides broad "Katana" blade look in the original has been taken down to a smaller (but still blade shape........
Update on the waterproofing experiment
A while back I treated the new strap for the ChronoCockpit.It seems to work pretty well. Near the same time I got this, I put a new strap on the 1969 Constellation day/date.Granted, it's a slightly different type of leather. I did not treat the Connie and it gets sticky and uncomfortable. The Breitling is fine though in the same conditions. I will be putting a similar strap on the Corum when it comes back, so maybe I'll treat that and see how it holds up. I may even try treating the COnnie ........
